PROJECT SUTTON PLACE

This commercial warehouse in Cincinnati, Ohio underwent extensive repairs and upgrades to prepare for new tenant occupancy.

The project included:

  • Expanded Parking: A new parking lot was constructed for employees and customers, with over 5 acres of subgrade precisely cut using GPS technology to ensure proper drainage. A fine-graded 8-inch stone base was prepared for heavy-spec asphalt pavement.

  • Improved Access: An additional entrance was created to streamline the flow of tractor-trailers and deliveries, maximizing efficiency for warehouse operations.

  • Storm Drainage & Retention Basin: New storm drainage systems and a retention basin were installed to manage increased surface runoff, meeting SWPPP and county compliance requirements.

  • Additional Dock Doors: To optimize space, five new dock doors were added to the opposite side of the building. This required precise demolition, new footers, poured walls, and underpinning to integrate seamlessly with the existing foundation and accommodate the grade change.

  • Built to Last: All lot and building modifications were engineered to withstand heavy-duty use for years, ensuring long-term reliability for tenants.

From parking lot expansion to stormwater management and structural upgrades, this project exemplifies Richmond Excavating's expertise in delivering precise, durable solutions for commercial developments
