Comprehensive Lot Renovation and Expansion Project

Richmond Excavating transformed a deteriorated lot with extensive repairs and upgrades designed for long-term durability and functionality.

Key elements of the project included:

• Complete Demolition: All existing concrete and asphalt were removed due to extreme deterioration caused by inadequate drainage.

• Engineered Stormwater Solution: Existing stormwater infrastructure was replaced with a newly engineered system, featuring HDPE pipe and pre-cast structures. Strict specifications were followed to protect the Great Miami Aquifer and ensure compliance with environmental guidelines.

• Improved Drainage: Subgrade elevations were precisely cut to promote proper drainage, followed by the import and fine grading of crushed stone to support new heavy-duty asphalt paving, concrete paving, curbs, and sidewalks.

• Lot Expansion: The parking and storage area was expanded by over 1 acre, accommodating additional heavy-duty truck traffic and materials storage. Entrances were widened significantly to enhance accessibility and ease of use.

• Sanitary Line Upgrades: Aging clay sanitary laterals were replaced with durable PVC piping to ensure long-lasting, trouble-free operation.
